Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist-Pedestrian and Cyclist
The standard system is designed to help detect a potential collision and automatically apply the brakes in a variety of circumstances.1
Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist
If there's another vehicle in your blind spot, the available system will help to alert you to it, and may help avoid a collision by actively moving your vehicle away from the adjacent vehicle. It can also provide helpful alerts while exiting a parallel parking spot.2
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist
Using radar sensors hidden in the corners of the rear bumper, the available system scans for passing cars, motorcycles, and/or other vehicles as you back up. If the system detects a vehicle or pedestrian when backing out of a parking spot, the system alerts the driver and applies the brakes.3
